Young people

At GCC we value children and see them as an integral part of the church.  We want to see them developing in their relationship with God whilst having fun and feeling accepted. 

Sundays

On the second and fourth Sundays of the month, we have “Groups week” where we split into age-specific groups (children and adults).

The children meet at Wessex House. For those coming for the first time a consent form needs to be completed. This can either be done on the day or ahead of time. Children should arrive at 10.15am to be registered and collected at 11.45am. You can read more about the practical details here.

The children’s groups are:

Little Shoots

Babies/toddlers (up to year R)

Acorns

Year 1 to year 5

Youth group

Year 6 to year 10 

During these times they learn about Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him. They use games, crafts and stories.

Through the week

The Gap

Tuesdays 3:30–5pm (term time), school years 7–11, for fun, games, friendship. Download parental consent form.

Little Shoots toddler group

Thursdays 10 to 11:30am (term time)
