The Food Larder is held at Gillingham Community Church in Gillingham, Dorset on the High Street.
All are welcome to come and register for the morning between 9:15 and 9:45
The food is then shared out and you will receive your share of the food recieved on the day. But generally includes fresh fruits and/or vegetables alongside other items.
The items vary each week dependant on what is collected by FareShare – the company that collects the food and brings it to us.
FareShare tackle food waste and redistribute surplus food from some of the UK’s top food companies to nearly 8,000 charities and community groups.
The Food Larder helps not only save food waste, but also helps us offer affordable food to the community.
Anyone can sign up, it is not means tested. So please come along and participate in reducing food waste accross Dorset whilst recieving a bundle of very affordable goods.
